This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use, and protect the personal information you provide on our website located at tradeloft.co (the “Website” or “Site”) and through our peer-to-peer marketplace for buying, selling, and trading pre-owned luxury goods (the “Services”). By accessing and using the Site, you accept the collection, use, and transfer of your personal information as described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, password, and the preferences you set when creating an account.
• Listing and Trade Information: details you provide about items you list, offer on, or propose to trade, such as category, condition, description, asking price, serial or reference numbers you choose to share, and messages exchanged with other members.
• Transaction Information: shipping addresses and the status of offers, trades, and sales. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Usage Information: pages you visit, listings you view or save, IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location, and other website usage data.
• Web Technology Information: information collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies.

Children. TradeLoft does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. You must be 18 or older to create an account or list, buy, or trade items.

2. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and keep the marketplace secure. You may set your browser to decline cookies, although some features may not function properly. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Providing the Services: to create and manage your account, publish your listings, match offers and trade proposals, coordinate item verification and shipping, and support transactions between members.
• Communications: to send account notifications, offer and trade alerts, listing updates, security messages, and responses to your inquiries by email and, if you opt in, by text message.
• Trust and Safety: to verify identities, detect and prevent fraud, counterfeit listings, and stolen goods, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
• Improving the Site: to analyze usage, improve features, and maintain security.

4. How We Share Information

• With Other Members: when you list an item or make an offer, other members can see your listing details and your public profile name. Your email address and phone number are not shown publicly.
• Service Providers: with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing, identity and item verification, shipping, messaging delivery, analytics, and customer support. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
• Legal and Safety: when required by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, protect our rights or the rights of others, investigate fraud or stolen property, or protect public safety.
• Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. SMS / Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box when creating an account, you agree to receive recurring automated service updates and account notification text messages from TradeLoft, such as offer and trade alerts, listing status updates, verification and shipping updates, and account security notices. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using the Site or of any purchase.

6. Opt-Out Choices

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by visiting our Unsubscribe page. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opt-out requests are processed and your contact information added to our internal do-not-contact list within ten (10) business days. Even after opting out of marketing, we may still send transactional messages related to an active listing, offer, or trade.

7. Data Security

We use SSL encryption, access controls, and industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

9. California and Other State Residents

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to or deletion of your personal information, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of certain processing.
